After promoting a company for months, (about three to date) on pure faith of a vision, I decided to create this blog to better document my journey. Not just my journey but, the journeys of others too!
I want this to be a place where you can find interesting, useful, and truthful information about Giant Cinema, based on my experience and the experiences of others. You can email me your stories at teamspudsville@gmail.com so I can post them here (please include your name and location) or you can just leave a comment with your story! I also want to share the tools that I've used to sign up over 600 spuds in just 3 months!
I'm so excited to start this journey! I can't wait to meet new spuds/spudettes and hear all of your stories. (Good or Bad)
So to kick this off, I'll tell you a little of mine...
My name is She She, I'm a 31 yr old female who lives in Baltimore Md. I found Giant Cinema while searching for employment on Craigslist in Aug. 2013. I can't remember the exact wording of the post but it said something like...
Get paid when your friends and family watch free TV!
My first thought was, "I wonder how much THIS company wants? Probably a $100 or something." Please keep in mind that I've seen many other referral marketing and multilevel marketing companies "say" they were free but some how I was still being asked for my credit card info.
I thought Man, wouldn't this be great if it were real? Free Tv with a compensation plan for sharing... So feeding my curiosity I clicked the link to get more information, and when I got to the site I watched the two min video they posted. Afterwards I thought, "hmm that's interesting." It sounded legit, but being the skeptic I am I did some research. I'll admit I wasn't impressed with the information that I found because there wasn't much to go on. Just a Twitter account that hadn't been updated in months
A couple days after my search I received an email from Allen Muench thanking me for signing up and telling me that I could "call" him with any questions. "Well this is nice" I thought. I might be able to have an actual conversation with someone about this. Later that day I spoke with Allen for about 45 mins and I must say it was a great conversation. He was very knowledgeable about GC and made me much more comfortable with the decision I made. Him and his wife Joan were great. Turns out they are close friends with one of the cofounders Ross. Only then did it make sense why he was so knowledgable, considering at the time there was no back office and very little to go on from the web. He made himself easily accessible to me which gave me motivation and confidence. I learned a lot from him and I look to pass it on to all of you. (As well as I what Ive learned through trial and error).
Over time, (In these past three months) I could see the company growing pretty quickly. Outside of keeping up with GC's Alexa rating, (a site that records a website's daily traffic and analytics) I would do a Google search once a weak to see what I could find. I started finding more people talking about it on Facebook, Youtube, and a little on Twitter. I thought wow this thing is doing pretty good for a program that hasn't officially launched yet. This has done tons for my morale knowing that the word is really getting out there.
I'm going to continue to share Giant Cinema with everyone I know, and I'll be updating this blog every time I hear more news or information about the platform and the direction it's headed in. I will also be sharing my tips and your stories.
Well there you go, my story of how I became a baby spud! I wish all of my spud brothers and sisters luck with this new opportunity and I can't wait to hear your stories!

She She
