Is Giant Cinema Dead?
Hey everyone! I still haven't made any money from Giant Cinema, even though I found them like 2 years ago. I haven't done any recruiting either. I noticed they are looking for people to "own" entire states and territories. That's an indication that money is funny. The GC marketing tips site is still up and operating but there aren't a lot of posts about Giant Cinema. I guess things aren't working out for GC or maybe they've hit a road block that's taking them awhile to get passed. I think it was a great idea with promise. Oh well maybe something good will happen for them. Good Luck GC.

Been away for awhile
Wow! How is everybody? It's been a couple of months since my last post.
Waiting on revenue from Giant Cinema isn't easy when you've got bills to pay. Even though I haven't posted in awhile, I still keep up with gcmarketingtips.com for my lastest GC news. I still visit GC's website 2-3 times a week, just to see if I've had any new sign ups. When I get there I see that I don't have any. Which brings me to the reason for this post.
That saying "You get back what you put in" is so true. I haven't posted an ad for craigslist in about 2 months, and the result was nothing. Zero posts equaled zero sign ups. Since then I have posted a few ads and I've gotten 4 new sign ups. I 'm not posting anywhere near as much as I did before I got my new job and it shows.
I've decided to not stop completely and to post at least 2-3 times a week. I still believe in Giant Cinema and what it can do for my life and the life of others, so I will continue this journey. I'll be glad when I can quit my job. :)

The Giant Cinema Story
Many of you probably wondered what inspired Ross Callen to start Giant Cinema. (I've wondered myself) When I read this statement it made total sense. With that being said I just HAD to share it with you all. You can find it on giantcinema.com when you visit under "Our Story"
The Giant Cinema Story (How it all started)
Back in college, my parents once asked me what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and how I planned to make money? Without hesitation I blurted out, "I think I'm going to watch TV for a living, Mom and Dad." My somewhat 'smart alec' answer at the time might just come true.
Flash forward twenty years, and several businesses later, I found myself writing as a screenwriter. I love every aspect of screenwriting and filmmaking, except for the insanity of the entertainment industry. There are too many obstacles that stand in the way for all the talent that exists in the industry. So with a background of running businesses and having to make things work out the way I desired, I decided to fix what I didn't like about the movie industry.
I began with a blank canvas and imagined a perfect scenario. I didn't look at any other companies in the market, because I knew nobody was doing it right. It seemed as if everybody from Hollywood to the cable companies had this grasp over the industry, and the result was that the quality of the films have declined while prices have gone up.
I knew that in order to be the best, an important element to incorporate was freedom. Freedom for everybody and every step in the process. With free-market principles, people will eventually get the product or service they want.

Isn't that just grand? Now that's how you get things done! You don't like the way things are...don't COMPLAIN about it, DO something about it. I love SMART THINKERS, those with An ACTION PLAN, and people who aren't afraid to EXECUTE that plan. Kudos Ross!

Giant Cinema Video Contest
So Giant Cinema may possibly be holding a "contest" to see who can come up with the coolest Giant Cinema video. Not sure that there are any prizes involved for a "winner", but just a fun way to share Giant Cinema with others. There may be ideas for use of these videos but to my knowledge its just for fun.

Giant Cinema Has Launched
This is it guys! We've been waiting on this launch for months and it's finally here.
First reports were there would be no movies once Giant Cinema launched but I woke up this morning to few already uploaded.
One in particular a short film called Sintel was my favorite. It's a animated film about a girl on a quest to find a dragon. The effects were pretty good and the storyline kept me watching. I only wished it was longer.
If you're signed up already you'll notice a new tab that says "Watch TV" when you sign in. Once you click that there are 8 categories to choose from.

Not all of these have content in them at the time of this posting but I'm sure it won't stay that way long.
